What Does It Mean To Believe And Belong?

Every Christian should be advancing and taking the next step in their Christian life. The local church enables believers to do this.

What Is Baptism?

Those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior are candidates for Baptism. Baptism is a Scriptural ordinance of the church that affords believers the opportunity to publicly identify with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

What Is Church Membership?

God desires for everyone to believe on His Son Jesus Christ and belong to a local church. Christ gave Himself for the church, and it is here that the Christian discovers the reason why God saved them and has given them life. We would love to help you discover all that God has for you.

There are three ways to join Gateway Baptist Church:

  1. By baptism– Believers become members upon being baptized at Gateway Baptist Church.
  2. By letter– This communication takes place between churches upon request of change of membership.
  3. By statement of faith– Upon the believer’s testimony of salvation, baptism, and public reception, the believer can become a member.
